The bait plays the most important role in fishing. The fishing bait differs very much from one technique to another. However, the principle is pretty much the same. The fish is attracted by the bait, tries to swallow it and gets hooked. The fishing line that is attached to the rod typically features a single hook that is found at the end of the line. Because of this reason, people are warned not to swim in the ocean, because the tiny fishes catch the attention of the sharks.
Fly fishing is probably the most famous fishing technique. In this particular situation, the bait is represented by artificial flies that resemble through shape, size and behavior the real insects. There are several types of such fishing baits. Some of the flies tend to sink slowly as soon as the line is cast away. Others float on the surface of the water while the third type is known to float in the water. No matter the behavior, fish will be attracted.
Another type of fishing bait is represented by lure. This is also a type of artificial fishing bait. The fishing lure is effective if it has the same size, shape and behavior as the real fish prey. In conclusion, this is mainly utilized for catching predatory fish. The most recent types of such fishing bait is represented by lure that glows in the dark. The fishing lure is meant to take the fish out of the hiding places.
